To the west of Valoria stretches a barren desert that runs for miles across low, flat terrain. Its dusty expanse broken only by scattered stone and wind-carved ridges. It is the only passage into the valley, as every other side is sealed by steep mountain slopes that rise like walls around the land.
Only medium ranks or higher may recruit here.

Embedded in the northern mountains, Infernia Ridge is a large jutting rock formation that rises into a small plateau. Several narrow, rocky paths wind up its sides, leading to the top where a medium-sized cave provides a well-sheltered pride den. Below the ridge, a small stream winds through a cluster of trees, offering enough water and shade to sustain the pride that calls the ridge home.

Rising above the rest of the valley, scattered trees stretch across the elevated land. A narrow creek winds through the woodland, cutting between the stands of trees and providing the water that sustains both the plant life and the animals that dwell there. While the trees offer natural cover, the occasional cave can also be found hidden among roots and rocky outcrops.

Dakori Green is a small but pleasant copse of trees growing along the edge of a branch of the main river. The stream itself is not very deep - shallow enough to wade through - but in such an arid land it makes a remarkable difference. Its steady flow allows the trees to flourish and nourishes a small meadow of green grass that stretches along the border of Dakori territory.

Located in the southern end of the valley, Saphira Oasis is a cluster of small, crystal-clear pools that gather in the sand at the end of the river's path. Though the surrounding land is dry and sparse, the water gives life to the area. Scattered rocks and hardy trees dot the territory, and among some of the larger stone formations, small caves can occasionally be found tucked beside the pools.

Surrounded by the river and swamplands, the Askath Jungle is never short on water. Tropical trees grow tall covering the entire territory with a large green canopy all year round. Within the jungle there are several small clearings allowing light to reach the ground and many small streams running through.

High on one of the tallest points in Valoria rise the slopes of Ember Mountain. Plush grasses carpet the slope, and towering trees spread their thick greenery to provide shade for those who rest beneath them. Small caves peek from the rocky face of the mountain, offering natural shelter. Nearby, the steady sound of a waterfall, tumbling from some hidden source within the mountain, echoes across the slopes and fills the air with a cool, calming presence.

During the winter seasons, this area becomes treacherous and bitterly cold. Ice and snow coat the steep slopes, and a single misstep could send someone spiraling down the frozen hillside. In the cooler seasons, the climb remains difficult but far less dangerous. Even so, the rugged terrain serves as a natural barrier, helping keep unwanted visitors from entering Valoria.

To the northeast of Valoria lies a true spectacle: Merrill Caverns. Carved deep into the stone, these winding chambers are filled with mystery and shadow. Younger lions often enjoy romping through the entrances, exploring the twisting passages in search of hidden treasures. Cool and shaded from the sun, the caverns also make a popular place to rest. While the chambers closest to Valoria are generally safe, venturing too far into the depths could easily lead to tragedy.

The path that leads toward the volcano eventually bends, revealing a striking change in the land. The grass slowly fades into soft, golden sand, and far in the distance the shimmer of salt water stretches toward the horizon. Beyond the quiet shoreline, there is little else to see but the endless meeting of sky and ocean, where the two blend together in the far-off blue.

A winding trail leads to the lush, moss-covered base of a towering and relatively active volcano known as Terrapin Volcano. The rich greenery surrounding it contrasts with the dark stone rising above. When the volcano begins to stir, the ground trembles beneath the area, sending a clear warning to anything nearby. Those within a hundred yards know to flee quickly, for the mountain's mighty wrath can awaken without much notice.

Located behind Dakori Green, and fed by the runoff from the waterfall and river, lies the Altrara Swamp. This wetland is a stretch of muck and spongy earth where water gathers among scattered trees and thick mud. One must watch their footing carefully, as the only truly stable ground lies near the trunks of the trees, where tangled roots provide support. Beyond these small patches of firmness, the land quickly gives way to deep mud that can easily trap the unwary.

In the centre of the valley lies a large open clearing encircled by tall, widely spaced rock formations that offer shade or vantage points for spectators. Here, lions may gather to test their strength, whether in serious fights for dominance or simple sparring. This is also the neutral ground in which many challenges are issued.

In the eastern region of Valoria rests a beautiful waterfall where clear water pours over the rocks into a shining pool below. When the light strikes the surface just right, the reflection scatters into a myriad of shimmering specks. Legend claims that diamonds lie hidden beneath the water, though most know the currents and depth make such treasures far too dangerous to seek. From the falls, the water flows westward, feeding the delightfully cold river that winds through the valley.

Directly east of the Stone Circle lies a wide open stretch of land known as the Mosse Plains. These broad grasslands serve as the main hunting grounds for the lions of Valoria, where prey can often be found roaming across the open terrain. With few obstacles and clear views in every direction, it is considered one of the safer areas of the valley. Because of its openness and calm atmosphere, many lions also gather here simply to rest and enjoy the quiet of the plains.

The Caerula River runs gracefully through the centre of Valoria, its blue waters winding across the valley and sustaining the land around it. The river feeds many parts of the region, flowing from the waterfall. Along its banks, some choose to rest and lounge, careful to avoid the stronger currents, while others come simply to drink. Even in the dry season the river persists making it one of Valoria's most vital sources of life and survival.

In the western reaches of the land stands a small area known as the Boulder Towers. These oddly shaped stone formations rise high toward the sky, their stacked boulders forming narrow ledges and uneven paths that wind upward. Few have managed to reach the very top, making the climb a true test of endurance and balance. Despite the challenge, many visit the towers simply for the thrill of the climb or to pass the time exploring the unusual rock formations.

With the natural protection of rocky outcroppings and the harsh, arid climate, the Wastes are a place where only the hardiest life can endure. Sparse, stunted trees and tough scrub grasses cling to the dry soil, drawing what nutrients they can from a small pond within the area. The scattered rocks rise from the land in uneven formations, creating pockets of shade and shelter. Within them, cool caves offer refuge from the relentless sun and the unforgiving elements of the land.
